Did you know,

How the word "CURRY" came from?

In India any dish with sauce is called TARKAARI or TADKAARI. When the British were in India, they fell in love with the Indian TARKAARI. Their ingenious mind assisted them to call this dish CURRY, when TARKAARI became too treacherous to pronounce. Even also, cooking curry itself was quite treacherous for them, hence, they became the inventor of the modern day curry powder.

Curry now has been making its way into the hearts of millions of people from every ethnic background and is slowly incorporating itself into the various cuisine of the world...

A simple recipe to delight your taste buds:

Curry Flavoured Baked Potatoe Wedges
Potatoe wedges-1lb
Curry powder - 1tsp
garlic powder - 1/2tsp
ginger powder - 1/4tsp
salt - to taste
oil - 1tbsp

Mix them all together and spread it on a baking sheet and bake in a pre-heated 350F oven for 20-30 minutes (turn the wedges half way of the baking time). Serve with any dipping sauce or ketchup. Enjoy!

Please note: if you are using TSS  Indian vegetable blend, omit the curry powder, garlic & ginger powder.
